Guess the Species - 2013/12/19

I've been slacking again. But here is one of my favorite species of pipefish. Hint; I've never seen it available in the hobby. It could be, but it's certainly not common.
  • H. erectus, H. comes, H. kuda, H. zosterae, Doryrhamphus excisus, Bryx dunckeri, Corythoichthys flavofasciatus

Shot in the dark....but how about Halicampus macrorhynchus?

It's not the winged pipefish Halicampus macrorhynchus, but a good guess.

It's the Tasselled Pipefish Halicampus brocki, also sometimes called Brock's Pipefish. I think they are an amazing little pipefish, and would love to some day acquire some. Here are a few more photos:
