Odd number of banded pipes in the same tank??

Hi All
I'm new here. I'm Aaron.
I have been keeping SW fish and reef tanks for a few years but recently set up a seahorse tank....I recently set up another 80 litre tank to keep some pipes in.
I have a dwarf blue stripe pipe and 2 normal sized banded pipe in the tank. My LFS has 1 more banded pipe which looks pretty lonely....Will he/she be able to live with the other 2 without conflict?

Hi Aaron and welcome to fusejaw.  I am more into the seahorses than pipefish but from what I have read 2 male banded pipefish will fight so I would be relunctant to do that, especially in that sized tank.

Thanks for the info.
How easy to sex are these pipefish?
Can you give me some hints on how to do it please?
