36 gallon bowfront seahorse tank update

« posted: 11 months ago »

My seahorses and tank are coming up on 2 years in about a month.  We have had some growing pains but nothing too serious.  The tank is currently having some cyano issues and bubble algae is always present.

Adam and Eve have had a healthy summer even with my husband and I going on a 15 day motorcycle roadtrip.  A month later we were gone for another week.  I credit my happy healthy ponies to my sister's competent care and my basement sump upgrade that makes water changes simple and easy.

Your tank looks great vangel.  Glad to hear you were able to take some vacation and not have to worry about your tank.

Thanks SaltyinNJ.  Before I got seahorses my biggest worry was leaving them to go on vacations.  I have come up with a plan that works well and my sister works nearby and just stops in once a day to feed them.

I can understand that.  Vacation care is actually my biggest concern regarding starting my seahorse tank.  I do have a cousin who lives near bye and has fed my FOWLR in the past for me.  This would be just a little step up in difficulty possibly but I think she would do it for me.  You have to love family... :)
